Where can i get a good shift kit for my auto 2kgt? Whats a good brand and wut all would i need?

when i had my auto 6er, i got a diablosport for it and WOW is all i can say.. it was amazing

i firmed up my shift points and it shifted hard.. did you do that with your auto yet??

Buy a transgo I loved mine. Had it on the v6 for two years and the tranny shifted better then ever. It will make you love your car again .

 

Yeah my car shifts harder than stock with the diablo. But when im running thru my low gear thru 2nd it shifts a lil slower. When i go into 2nd from 1st i shift it bout 5500k, but it doesnt actually shift when i throw it it the next gear it would shift bout 6k. What is a Jmod?

J-mod is a modification to the separator plate in the valve body of the trans. I believe you remove a spring or two for the 1-2 acumulator too. You can read up about it at the tccoa.com site.

Trans-go is a brand of shift kit you can get at summitracing/jegs.

 

put a transgo kit in a cops vert and it shifted 100 percent better, just be careful with the internal connectors as the solid harness is kinda brittle.

 

i just did the j-mod to my auto and i love it. gets a nice chirp on the 1-2 shift and just shifts hard and fast under wot. Normal driving is almost completely like stock still.
