to get great hp gains on a 2v 4.6 you are either gonna need to get a blower or spray. Unless your idea of great is like 20 hp, than full exhaust will get you that.

The almighty question!

Great power? Stick with pushrods man.. Making power is as simple as nitrous, or dropping big $$ on boost.

Depends on what you want to do to the car. great power to me means like 600rwhp. So great power to me means built motor, upgraded heads and cams, and depending on what your preferences are, a nice sized supercharger, a turbo...or 2, or a nice healthy shot of giggle juice. I would go with turbo or nitrous over supercharger. But thats just me. A nice built motor with new Trickflow heads, cushman turbo cams, and a custom twin turbo kit is what my goal...along with all the other supporting mods. That ought to be good for 600+rwhp i would hope.

welp... the old way to get 300rwhp was to do full bolt on's with cams.... now, trickflow says their heads will get you over 300rwhp alone so you may want to wait another few months to find out if this is true. Head/cam combo for $2600 or so and probably 330-350rwhp (is what I heard) sounds good to me.

well spray and non forged piston are not good in my book, i have a 393 with kb pistons i have sprayed 125 shot on alot still ticking, but not sure what is a safe shot without piston or ring issues. car has like 34 or so thousand miles, dont wanna bury the motor before its time
