Default best shocks struts?

Im in the process of buying shocks/ struts, and h&r lowering springs for my 03 gt. Im having trouble deciding the best shocks and struts. Is it better to go double adjustable or something like blistiens? Theres alot of compaines but i want the best overall.

I have similar questions.

I already have FRPP springs in a box in my garage. I'm am leaning heavily towards getting some shocks/strust that match the springs and I'm wondering what to get. Right now, FRPP is in the running - why not get some stuff that was actually made to go with those springs, right?

My goals are 1) get the car lowered, 2) keep the ride comfortable, 3) don't make it handle any worse.

Topico D-Specs seem to be the most popular because the stiffness is adjustable. I'm not sure I care about that since I don't race. No need for me to go back and forth between comfort and race.

I'd just like to have something that a) goes with FRPP springs, and b) doesn't make the ride hard.

Tokico Hp's are good all around, and are priced pretty good. The adjustable one's are really good cause you can set them to the type of driving you do.

I would highly recommend adjustable ones. I have tokicos 5-way illumnas struts/shocks for 4 years now, and I still love them to death.

My Strange 10 ways rock hardcore. When set to handle, they friggin handle. When they are set for drag, the car hooks and squats. They dont hurt the ride any either. I vote Strange.

Definatly go adjustable. My strange's perform wonderfully for me, but you can also look into kyb agx's,tokico illumina's,and i beleive competition engineering makes an adjustable also.

I'm happy with my Bilstiens but I really wanna try D Specs.

I can't imagine Strange shocks improving handling. Sorry, I just can't.
