Default Tb/plenum install. Unexpected problems

Ok so this weekend i may be puttin on my new tb/plenum. And i wanted to know if there were any problems you all have had with it...or if its pretty straight forward? It may be a dumb question but i just wanna know wht im doin. I know alot about mustangs...jsut don't work on em too much. Im just startin to really get into the mechanical side.

Couple vacuum lines, couple clips, couple connectors, 4 bolts on the base... pretty straight forward stuff ya kno

Oh mkay...yeah i thought it was that easy, but i mean sh*t can happen haha.

So now that i got this...im done with power mods for awhile til i get outta Highschool. So what mods should i getting? I was thinkin sum 3.73s and like subframe connectors?

biggest thing is dont let **** fall into your intake manifold while your doing it. othwise its simple bolts and hoses like whitefoxgt said.

lmao no, but all i remember from my tb/plenum install like two years ago was i was very conscious about not letting anything fall in there.

Some aftermarket TB's, including Accufab's, have a very tight fit on the bellcrank where the throttle cable barrel end fits in.

Have a smallish rattail or chainsaw sharpening file (3/16" or so) on hand just in case, and try thge fit before mounting the TB as it's a whole lot easier to file the hole out before it's mounted.

Word....

OP, get some 4:10's instead of the 3:73's. Also, get some Maximum Motorsports full lenght subframe connectors.

i had to drill out where the cable connects to the throttle body.
