Default noob question

ok i know im gonna take sh*t over this but i gotta ask. is my oil dip stick supposed to look like a corkscrew (best way i can think of to describe it) and it so any ideas why? thanks in advance ,i think

yes. I have a 2000 and it is like that too. I don't know why but I don't think it's that big of a deal. I think it just makes more of a PITA trying to put it back in.

yep thats it ,,just wanted to make sure it just doesnt look right and like you said it is a real pita to put in. thanks

lol ya the corkscrew dipstick is correct, although it must have been designed by a dip____ fill in the blank, cause it always used to get stuck when I had my 01 gt

I have no idea why the so called engineer deisgned it that way, it is a **** poor design that it is a PITA to get back in the engine.
