Exclamation Engine missfire

my 2001 mustang gt sounds like it is missfireing. i've had a fuel and ignition class look at my car and they couldn't find anything wrong. does anyone have any ideas to what might be causing this?

you could have a compression test done (you may have a leak), you may not be getting the needed spark, or the Air-to-Fuel ratio could be off enough to not allow for a spark. Is it a steady misfire?

Also, do you know which cylinder it is?

Does it drive fine???? I know our cars gurgle and make all kinds of odd noises at idle.. Sometimes it even feels like they are missing, but thats just the nature of the beast. Are you having driveability problems?

Well if you have a misfire code for cylinder 8 replace the coil and plug.. I bet thats the problem... You can "test" coils all day and come up fine... and still run like crap. I've seen it.

I would say you've got a bad COP. Happens quite often, it seems. I bought mine with a bad COP on it, and it ended up being 4 bad by the time all was said and done.
