You will never see 8k for your car, sorry. You would probably be lucky to get about 5k right now.

Btw I took them off today after roasting them in the parking lot at work a few times. My boss is pretty cool. They bulged out probably an inch on each side lol. took me a few minutes to dismount them, the bead kept seating on me lol...looked bad*** from the rear tho but real goofy from the side. all cobras came with 9" wheels right? if there are true cobra wheels that are 10" or 10.5" i want em bad!
they won't hook up because 315's should never be put on such a narrow wheel. They are recomended for minimum 11" wheels and just BARELY work on 10.5"s

Actually the Recommended is 10.5-12.50 as seen here, but your right for max contact patch a 9'' in wheel shouldnt be used.

O, sorry, I forgot, they were goodyears. BFG's are the ones that are cut extremely wide, my bad.

as you can see, the BFG 315's there aren't recommended for anything less than a 11" wide wheel. The rule of thumb is usually .5" below the minimum or .5" above the maximum

The mt's run wider than the 315 bfg's I have now and with the newer thread design out perform them in every area imho.

BFG's suck *** period. I wasn't supporting them, I pretty much hate em

For a Slick, or anything similar, I don't go with anything but Hoosiers

usually 315's are on a low profile tire and are'nt gonna hook up well anyway for lack of sidewall. Only Low profile I've seen hook up well are the MT 315's

true, but when you put a 315 on a 9" wheel, the contact patch will suffer, and ultimately the center most likely won't be fully in contact with the road, so you'd end up with something like this. It's a bit emphasized, so it's not AS bad, but it does reduce the surface area that is in contact with the road.
