Default Borla cat-back?

so i have the opportunity to buy a new borla system for my 02 gt for half of the retail price of 850. however ive never heard any feedback on this product, maybe because with competitors being much cheaper not to many people use borla. my question is is it really that much better of a system and how does it sound compared to slp, magnaflow, etc and the different models they have?

im looking for a loud system but tolerable(no pitchy tones) and if i buy it should i pare it with the bassani off road x or the flowmaster catted x that i have in my garage lol

+1 to that.
Go on youtube and have away at it. We can't decide what sounds good for you.
And since when does Flowstopper make x pipes?

Which Borla CB is it? Stinger?

I have the SSS catback, which is very similar in sound and and quality as Borla. You can pick one up for around $380.

For me it was between the borla s-types and SLP LM's. I think it would sound great esp bolted up against an x pipe. But def youtube it and listen to some of the vids. It is a good quality system. Ford used it on the Cobra R and I think Roush and Steeda still use them as well.

The regular borla catback mufflers sound almost identical to magnaflow since the mufflers are made the same. The stingers sound just like magnapacks.

The borla exhaust is good quality. The stingers sound really good and have the rumble like old school, and not the rasp like LM's. But if its half retail, and you like the sound (mustangexhaust.com), I would say get it.
