Default Help with next mod

Hello all,
First let me start off by saying that I have a 2002 gt with a hurst shifter and that is it. I just finished off buying a slp lm2 to go along with`mac o/r h and long tube headers sitting in the basement. I now am looking at more than a few other mods. I am debating between 4.10's, hitech stage 2 cams, and the sniper sf tuner/software. I am just wondering for a dd what would be the next best mod for driveability and a few more horses. Thanks again. Oh, I am also looking at lowering springs and cc plates. I have all these ideas and have to be very picky as most of us do because of funds.

Welcome to the Mf's. Now, keep saving because although the stuff you want looks and sounds, you will wish you had kept saving for the procharger, kenne bell or vortech.

What i would do is build the whole rear end. Put an Eaton or FRPP Trak Loc in there with some 31 splines and 4.10's. Then worry about the other stuff. You will get the most feel out of the gears. The most power will come out of the cams. For lowering springs and c/c plates, i would suggest going with H&R SuperSports if you want a good drop with Maximum Motorsports C/C plates. Then to finish up the suspension, add a set of subframe connectors and aftermarket shocks and struts cus the lowering springs will wear out the stock stuff pretty quick. But if you dont want a nice 2" drop, i would go for the Eibach Prokits which give about a 1.25"-1.5' drop. But i like a nice low mustang.

3.73 gears might be a better setup, if you never do any highway then 4.10 would be nice. for a dd going to low is a hassle, especially with you long tube headers. if youve seen anybodies lt headers around the collector area with drop springs they are usually banged up. have you looked in to a tb/plenum, that would be a nice upgrade for a dd to complement your exh. a programmer is always a good thing to, especially if you plan on swapping gears.

most cams will require you to have at least 3.73's if not 4.10's
