Can anyone tell me if flowmaster super 40's only come in black or can ya get em in a silver?

 

I'm almost positive my brother got them in silver....they sound so good!

 

you should be able to go to flowmastermufflers.com and see, I'm sure you can though although they won't be "silver"

 

They are shown in black on flowmaster's website and says something about the classic black case. Reason I'm asking is because I just got super 40's put on my car at a muffler shop and the ones they put on my car are silver. Kinda thinking they may have put original 40's on there.

 

The super 40's that came with my American Thunder catback were silver.

 

Does it drone inside the car pretty bad around 2500 rpm's?

Yeah don't get the super 40's....I never liked them. They sounded almost exactly like stock to me but 1.5 times louder. If I wanted flowmasters I would just get the original 40's...at least it sounds pretty good on the outside.

Right now I got a Bassani X and Borla Stingers...the combination is gold.
