yes you will get a .5 inch drop with the X2 ball joints. That is if you do not install the supplied spring spacers. I measured before and after...take my word and don;t let anyine tell you different, they helped with the geometry and the look, get em

Get a roots blower and the weight of the manifold will lower the front.

Hahaha tim. Nice

Mustangman, did you also buy a bumpsteer kit? And did you notice better steering response or anything like that after installing the balljoints? And did you get the full half inch drop?

I did some more research on it and i got more info about what ninja said, as well as the fact that the balljoints aren't designed to specifically lower your car, but if you do not install the spacers that they provide, you WILL get a .5 drop... So don't install the spacers, and you're golden for another .5

And eduardo, are you sure you got .75??!!? thats a crazy drop for removing iso's!!! i want to remove them and see if it does some damage, but people keep telling me i won't even get a .25" drop which i think is bogus considering i've heard that that was the LEAST that people have gotten.. Average is like a .4-.5" drop.

Did you measure before and after?? Also, did you take out the top/bottom iso, as well as BOTH sleeves that wrap around the last coil? And any added noise from removing the isos?

Thanks!!!
yeah im sure i measured before and after. before i was at 2.75 inches and when i took them out i was right at 2in. here some before and after pics.
before

after

I'll let you know what difference the x2 ball joints make tomorrow since they are going into my car tomorrow morning.

No spacers. I had these things for over 4 years now sitting around in the garage and just now decided to put them in. I am having a buddy put them in for me sin my old ball joints are tacked in and I want these tacked in too. I have had the bump steer on there for awhile.

IMO you are looking at x2 balljoints for the wrong reasons. they really arent for achieving more of a drop.
