Anyone out there done this with Mach 1/ Bullitt springs?
In my quest to perfectly match a spring to my shocks/struts I have concluded that going with anything stiffer than 600 is pure pointless. So I am looking to swap just the front springs out to the mach1/bullitts.
Anyone done this to your vehicle? I am thinking this might be the optimal set-up for the tokico bullitt dampening system i have. Keeping my rear springs would allow me to keep the factory spec spring rate that is set for the verts. The front is an assload higher than the rear(better illistrated by the photo), so im thinking the fronts might level it out if nothing else.
thoughts?

sportlines are one of the worst springs you can put on IMO...Im not trying to go for looks.. as you can tell i dont really give a fawk about ride hight lol. im trying to match the best spring rate i can to my current shocks/struts.
LMFAO. one of my favorite things about not being lowered is i dont have to worry about the chin spoiler clearing parking space curbs.. usually its just over the top
Yea it does kinda suck having to leave my car hanging out of parking spaces sometimes, lol. It must be weird not having to swerve for road kill though. I have to swerve for anything bigger than a baby bird haha.
dude i swerve for a fuggin piece of paper in the road...im super protective of my car lol.
well..i just scored a set of mach 1 springs wit 20k on them, so they should be good and settled. Hopefully I will get them in within the next 2 weeks. Im looking forward to having that added spring rate!!!
IMHO coilovers would be the best option. That way you can change ride height to whatever suits you, and basically change the spring rate as well.
It's a good idea, but IDK about it being the absolute best at handling. Even with a good subframe reinforcement, the increased ride height will still cause slightly more body roll than on a very low car.
Compared to yours, when I'm racing, mine is almost touching the ground it's so low, but the springs are also very very stiff at that point as well.
What your doing will definitely give you the best of what you got, the best handling that you can see with the setup that you have now.
