Default Launch help

hey guys how are you launching on your nitto 555DRs to cut a 1.7 or so 60ft time...what tire pressure what RPM and how to use the clutch and throttle...i keep getting 2.0 60ft all night with 20 psi in the rear leaving at 2-2500rpm, but on camera it looks like im leaving a stop light. Thanks for your input! i posted this on another forums as well but i wanted to get as many opinions from people as i could.

Everyone is going to give you a different answer. I'd suggest that you get in as much track time as you can and launch at different RPM's. You are going to have to heat those nittos up though. I had them and i had to pretty much roast them.

it's going to require a lot of clutch play along with much higher launches...and likely hotter tires...

use the clutch to keep the revs high and happy, but gradual enough to roll into the throttle hard while NOT dumping it at the same time

I'll have some input on this tomorrow night. Its my first time running and I'll be on MTs. I'll probably try 2500ish rpms first and go from there.
