Default UPR Products

I have a 96 gt with a pi head swap and intake, 4:10 rear end. I put down 290 hp 320 lb trq on dyno. I thinking about x-pipe no cats, 75 tb and plenum, under drive pulleys, cold air intake, and plenum spacer. All of this from UPR. So 2 questions.

Do you think UPR is a good product.

Do you think I will be able to hit 300 HP or more with them.

UPR is a decent product. Throw out the plenum spacer, its a complete waste of time and money, and throw out the UDP's. If your want UDP's then go with Steeda, they aren't the piggy back style.

The CAI, I would almost say throw that out too unless your going with JLT. The metal ones heat soak like a b!tch which basically eliminates the whole theory. Best bet is to get a K&N and throw it in your stock intake.

I would think that you could get 300 just out of the X pipe, TB plenum and K&N with a tune.

u dyno'd 290 hpand 320LBS Torque at the wheels With just a headswap/intake? I'd like to call bs here, unless you are talking about hp at the crank. You didn't do PI cams?

UPR is decent. I think if you do some searching on here, you can find good info on all of those products as far as which is the best of each brand (unless you wanted to stick with one main brand for all of your aftermarket needs).

Yeah I was thinking the same thing (dynoed @ 290 hp). With the mods that I've added I'm thinking I'm between 265 and 280 to the rear wheels. I really don't see, with the OP's mods, his car dynoed at 290.

Yea I was thinkin the same stuff, but I just kinda figured that his tuner gave him a little bump to make him happy and I didnt feel like getting into that whole discussion/argument.

That's what were here for right? To catch bad info and maybe save a guy a buck or two. Darkcrime you hit it right on the head, I'm also not in the buisness of starting a internet war. OP, post all of your mods or the BS flag's going to get raised even higher.

Ok then here it goes. I have a 96 gt with a 5.1 stroker kit pi heads 4:10 gears. The heads are port and polished with a mild tune. oh and a 70 mm TB with a K&N. That still has nothing to do with what i am asking. And oh yes Valvoline did the dyno on their mobile unit when they came to our drag strip here in tulsa.

Oh and all MSD ignition system. I dont remember which one a friend ordered the system for me I just wired it in. My compression is 10.5 to 1 I think I remeber the guy saying. I went through 3 motors in 6 months to get this right and it has lasted a year and a half. I ran an 04GT with a vortech and he got me hard through first and second but I stayed just passed his rear bumper though the rest. So am I pleased yes, but he tore me a new one on the start I need something to get him there.

hehe, well yeah, adding the few items you posted in the begining will get you over 300hp....

When you say you have a pi head swap, intake, and 4:10's, you had to know someone was going to say something, hehe.

BS flag revoked.

sounds like a nice little car you have there.

What you asked is if ups is a nice product, I said they are decent, so I did in fact answer one of your questions. Your other question was regarding hp, in which; I couldn't directly answer it thinking that's all you had with that hp. That's all

Again, nice car.
