hey guys i got a quick question how do u change the shifter leather boot on the 5 speed mustang, i just received the leather boot from redlinegoods

I think once you get the plastic bezel off, the boot is held on by staples.

It is, you will have to remove the staples and the plastic ring to which it's stapled, and find some method of fastening the new boot--did it not come with any instruction?

I used the gray 3M high-temp double sided tape to attach my custom "leatherette" (vinyl) boot to the bezel--it's been OK for 2+ years...

It only came with instructions for automatic mustang consoles

a small amount of gorilla glue will hold that thing on there forever.
