Default More blacked out taillights

Sorry for the blurry pic, but I had a local guy tint my taillights this weekend, and I think it looks great. Only problem is that the 3rd brake light is a little warped, but he's going to do another one for me this week, and I pick it up on Saturday.

Yeah, they were done with tinted clearcoat by a professional painter. He charged me $40 plus exchange of taillights.

They still shine through enough to keep me out of trouble. A little less output than stock, but not too bad. More than the GTS style taillight covers at least.

wow looks great, I really wanna have my tail lights tinted, but I'm scared the law is gonna give me trouble (19 yr "kid" in a "flashy" mustang) anyone know what the cops can do about them bc a local flipped sh*t on me for my tinted windows bc it was too dark, what's the deal with tinted tail lights?

I'm with you "tdcalhoun89". I really want to so this as well, but am concerned about the legalities too.

I have tint and a loud exhaust already (i'm praying cops are looking because they like the car...lol).

Do the cops seem to hassel any of you more so for tail lights than other things?
