Default When to build?

Is it best to build up your motor before it breaks or wait? some people say wait but what if you break it so bad that you have to buy a whole new motor. so would it be smarter to build up the motor now as a preventative measure and to save the costly expense of buying a new one?

It depends on your plans with your car. If you blow your motor it could wreck your heads which is what happened to me. If your future build plans with your car is getting new heads it really does not matter much.

Just keep running the motor you have now until you can build one up ,and when you go to swap them sell the old motor.

Build a spare. That way when your motor goes...if it does...or you just want to swap it out to make more power, you have the other one waiting on an engine stand waiting for you.
