Default Pacesetter Headers

Looking to pick up a set of longtube headers, for my 1999 4.6 GT. In my quest for the best priced headers I saw on stage3motorsports.com Pace Setter Headers for aroun $350. Now i know BBK and other companies are in the $500 range and Kooks and American Racing are upwards of $1000.

Does anyone have them or have had them, heard anything good or bad about them?

LS1 guys love pacesetter exhaust products and seem to be good quality for the price. i dont see why it wouldnt be the same for the ford parts from them but then again ive never heard of anyone having their LT's on our cars...

A friend of mine has them on his '02 Lightning. He said they fit nicely and were well constructed.

I haven't heard anything about them thats why I asked here. I heard good and bad things about Mac, so i stayed away from them, but I did call Stage 3 and asked a few questions and they said they used to be made in mexico but are now made in the US and haven't heard of anything bad, and that they are a popular item.

Just a heads up for anyone ordering them, the black ones are not painted with heat resistant paint, that paint is just for shipping purposes so they don't rust if anything happens when they are being shipped, plus you can see if they are damaged. So if anyone buys the BLACK headers when they are mounted they will smoke and burn off the paint.
