Default Probe Industries Internals

Anyone got any first hand experience with them? I'm looking for a forged setup and there the cheapest I've found so far. Kit I'm looking at is the pro street rated to 800 hp.

http://www.probeindustries.com/category_s/301.htm

Stage3motorsports sells the kit for just over 1500 vs $2000 for most other places.

Probe makes great RA but stay away from their stroker kits they are very prone to failing because of the piston design.

If you're going to buy it get it from stage3MS, great company.

MMR and CMS both also have good RA kits at good prices.

Yeah I checked MMR's website but could only find an already built sb not just the forged RA by itself. Guess I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if they can beat Probe/Stage3MS pricing.

I suck at the interwebs.

But thanks for finding them. Which would you go with?

Not going with the 600 kit as i need the forged crank for the rpms I'm spinning, its an 01 cobra motor btw.

So if you were placing the order which would you buy. Probe Pro Street kit for $1550 or MMR800 kit for $1650? Both rated at 800hp limit, I'm just not sure which is better quality.

I went with the 900 but even the 600 is good for 8000rpm.

probe pistons have thin skirts that are prone to collapsing.
