1-I can get a cobra crank/pistons rods used with low miles for a good price, I know they are forged and would have them at the machine shop if I got them...Does anyone know what kind of compression you would get with stock 2v heads and how much a setup like this might handle (boost/power)?

2-What if any benifits are there of running solid motor mounts?
