if the D1 is in great shape as well, then u would be absolutely crazy to go from that to a 1.7kb, i dont care what the fun factor is. I got a centri with 3.73s and i have no problems having fun and ripping tires loose instantly.

 

After Talking to Kenne Bell Tech Line for a little bit, The guy said i shouldnt trade, I have a better S/c... (i knew that already). Also, with my Built motor, I would Max the S/c out with Ease. I would need to Buy the Compressor and lines which is like 300 +S&H. The Kenne Bell Tech also said i could always Throw it on and Blow the Charger and Upgrade to the 2.1 for $1800.... (With the Core of the 1.7 thats damaged).

Sooo, I Guess im going to stay with the D1. I just liked the Idea of the Roots Sound(Drools) Lack of Fuel system I need for the KB, and the Intake manifold i wouldn't have to Purchase(P51).....

thanks for clearing that up. I hear people refer to kb as roots style all the time. I can hardly hear my kb so what nice sound are these people referring to???? A centri's sound is much louder than the kb. Maybe its because I am only at 7psi of boost?????? Does the amount of boost add more sound to the kb?
