The battery gauge stopped working on my car a few days ago. I went ahead and replaced the alternator, since i put a new battery in about 9 months ago. But the gauge still does not work, it dont move at all. Had my old and new alternator tested and they both work fine. The battery failed, but probably because it was almost dead. What can cause my gauge to stop working? Thanks for the help

Had alternator and battery retested, they were both fine. Now im guessing it might be a gauge problem.

The gauge is aftermarket and worked before..now it doesnt even move a hair.
