yeah. I'll look into the manual steering rack, sounds like a good option. I also am going to be looking into getting spacers for said rack, to increase actual turn angle. (not too much or I'll have to roll my fenders..or maybe I'll roll em)

But that's if I decide to actual pursue trying to drift in this car as like..a sport instead of just a goof off thing.

TYVM for such fast responses

Don't worry about it man.

there is someone on these boars that is into drifting as well, so I'm sure he'll know more about it than I do, he could probably help you more than I am. Hopefully he comes in too

I hate the carbon fiber look but the factory GT hood weighs a ton.
Anyone know the weight of stock hood vs carbon?

Couldn't you just paint the CF? I'm pretty sure the carbon hoods are around 20-30 lbs or so? I'm guessing a stocker would be like 40-something? Or maybe I'm retarded.

if you nix the power steering, you will no longer have power brakes... theres a manual brakes conversion kit that upr makes, you should look into it

hmm. I'm starting to reconsider dropping the power steering/brakes then. Maybe I'll just go the old fashioned way and ADD weight (sound system/whatever) to the rear, and just add enough power to negate the effect. That way I can have the balance and not lose drivability. (Im planning for this to be my DD)

I wouldn't mind manual steering much, but I have no idea how much manual brakes would affect drivability.

if you want to test it, take your car out on a backroad, get up to speed, put it in neutral and then shut the car off... no booster, so there wont be any vacuum held...you shut it off while driving and it will be the same feel as using manual brakes...its not that bad, ive had my car stall on me at 65 before and it stopped fine...go out and test it if you arent sure
