Default gear vs track

just want to know how much gears effect the mustang. so stock '98 npi mustang will run a 15.1@ (not sure mph) but 0-60 is 6.7. if you were to put 4.10's in what would the 1/4mile time be and 0-60mph time be. Google wasn't my friend for this question so i'm asking you guys

I had a 96 npi with just 4.10 gears o/r mid pipe and weld in flows with a cai and I was running as fast as a new edge in the 1/8 mile and that was on a motor with 175k on it

OK, sorry to butt in here, but it's spelled like this: definitely. I am just tired of people misspelling everything on the forums here. I sometimes think most people have no passed elementary school. It's easy: If you're going to post, make sure you spell everything correctly. It's not a knock on you in particular man, I think it's finally getting to me.

On topic now, I think that sounds about right now gears. They make a pretty significant difference, especially in a NPI Mustang. I had one with full bolt-ons, aside from gears. I could nearly keep up with my brothers new edge. He had exhaust, cold air, and tb/plenum at the time. Once he did LT's, tuner, and gears, my little '98 was no chance lol. I think I would have stayed with him with gears.

Right on man. F*** these people who have no passed elementary school. I know I yes passed elementary school. Spelling wrong is no cool. Spelling wrong is no funny.

what is funny is when a$$holes like you come on, try and flame someone for spelling something wrong and use terrible grammar in the process. Good job.
