just got this in the mail, and i can't wait to put it in!!!! hopefully i will be off sunday so i can throw it in!!!

What's the point of getting a different dif cover? They look sweet, but other than that is there a real advantage?

It's a def upgrade from the stock piece of crap that you have now. Anytime you do gears, it's an upgrade that is seldom recommended. No problem Steve, i think you will like it very much.

nope, stock one holds up to around 400hp, mine was a bent up piece of ****.... the stock one is paper thin and is literally like a baking pan... mine leaked after i put gears in... time and time again i resealed it but now it was time to upgrade...

I saw that it says it's rated for more hp but how does the cover have anything to do with how much power your rear end can handle? It's a cover...

it adds about another .5 quart of oil and it also reinforces the two main caps from pushing out and distorting. dissipates heat better also.

i had a similar trick flow piece on the 7.5 in my g body gm. broke plenty of axles but never a problem with the internals. well worth it in my opinion.
