a/c delete?

how much will this help me? will i gain any hp/tq? is it worth the $50?

There is no gain only weight loss.

shouldnt it be..since it should take less power to move the belt?

the compressor pulley "free wheels" when the compressor clutch isn't engaged so there is no power gain. if you find you still want to do it for the weight reduction, you don't need to buy a kit, you just install a k060888 belt and will have to loosen the tensioner to get the belt on in a rerouted position.

yeah just weight loss. Hey what is done to your engine? Those are some nice numbers.

ok how much weight?..

and i'm not sure everything on the car was done to it when i got it...i dont trust the guy that tuned it and i think they are false numbers thats why im havin it done else where this summer

ac delete isnt worth it unless you have a real reason... like if its a strictly track car, or youre swapping in a motor without a/c...or if the ac is broken and you dont wanna pay out to fix it, etc.... youre gonna save a few lbs and not even notice it, until the next time its 90 degrees out and youre stuck in rush hour traffic wishin you had ac lol

If you remove the entire system it's about 70lbs.

+1 ill keep my a/c for those 100* humid hot days. not worth it imo

I removed mine because I burned thru one of the lines. THe fix would have cost $250 and the delete was only $50. I now wish I would have spent the extra $200.
