Dont get me wrong i wanted a loud exhaust but thiss is too much!

With the catted h pipe it sounds good but its not quite rude enough!

Any thoughts or suggestions? I dont want to spend too much but was wondering if a offroad hipe might give me more muscle car rumble and less high pitched rasp?

or do i need different mufflers ?

at some point i might like some lt headers probably some thing cheaper like the flowtechs
but i have heard that a long header is even louder than shortys so the loun mouth resonaters might not work great with them

thoughts please.

i'm assuming you have LM1. that is your problem. I have longtubes o/r x and LM2 and it isn't too loud at all. IMO LM1 sound horrible with o/r midpipes no matter what kind.

American Muscle has the LM1 & LM2 resonators/mufflers. Just swap them if you want.

i had lm2s on both x and H and they sound much better on the H. lm1's suck ***** plain and simple. get LTs and o/r H with lm2s and your set. check corral.net and ebay for the cheapest lm2 resonators

that high piched frequency starts at 2400rpm and lets off a little after about 3700rpm
with the roof off it'll split your ear drums! not too bad with it up. if im sat at a light next to a cop then i shift at about 1700rpm cos im afraid of a ticket!

If you had to decribe the sound difference between the loudmouth 1s and 2s how do they differ?(i have tryed to listen to clips but its never a"true" sound through pc speakers

an o/r h would be slightly cheaper but would it take away that high rasp sound

the other thought is that if i do go with lts then the stock length h wouldnt work + the lm1 would still be too loud.

my lt o/r x and lm2 sounds pretty damn good IMO
