Default headers

anyone have pypes shorties?
what about long tubes for my auto?
kinda leaning towards shorties because of ease of removing tranny and starter. also already have h-pipe.

Does anyone know how to use the search button anymore? Their are at least 3 threads a week on headers with everyone asking the same question. We need to make one a sticky or something.

What trouble other than install do you have to worry about down the road? Emissions? Your H-pipe could be fabbed to fit any longtubes for a pretty reasonable price by any competent muffler shop.

The difference in install pain between long tubes and shorties is not that much. Ultimately you still have to get to some pain in the *** bolts on the motor. If you're going to do it, get the good gains by going with longtubes. The only reasons you should really consider shorties are to pass strict emissions (ie california) or if you're like me and are so low that you scrape the **** out of your stock exhaust as it is and would probably rip long tubes off your motor on a speed bump lol.

Yeah, I just did recommend long tubes. Solely because I have shorties on my 98 GT and I now have LT's and the sound under full throttle is so much sweeter. PBfreak, what suspension setup are you running? If you could PM me some more pictures, I would appreciate it. I am diggin' your stance.
