Default what do you think would be better???

i have a 1999 mustang & in the process of making it like a 6er. i was wondering if you guys thought i should do side exhaust or have it just dump out.

i looked under and was wondering how they would go about doing the side because my mufflers look to far back

Just dump it, 1000 times easier, less expensive, and you get to keep your muffler options open. You can go with different mufflers with a side exhaust kit but it would all have to be fabbed. Roush, Magnaflow, and Spintech are the only ones that make a "bolt in" muffler for the side exhaust, it's a front inlet/front outlet.

magnaflow makes the exhaust for Roush. Pypes also makes a side exhaust. They make it for Cervini for their body kits.

So Magnaflow makes the mufflers and stuff for all of the Roush "stages"? I didnt know that Pypes made those either......looks like I just got schooled lol.

I was thinking about doing this.(500hp that looked like a V6) I was going to get Borla Hush Mufflers(VERY QUIET and Restrictive) but have a Qtec Electric cutouts near the Xpipe. At the Track/ Driving down the street just Open the Cutouts and there yah go, sleeper no more let him hear the Raped ape let loose :-).....

Got the Idea from my Friends STI... Had the Borla Hush, made it look like a WRX. At Full throttle it was QUIET... When a Mustang pulled up it was great to see their Face when we flipped the Switch.... Sounds like a Strait Down Pipe lol....
