Default roll cage

I know there's a few people with them in there cars. just wonder where you got them and how much was it to get them welded into your car. I was looking at the Maximum Motorsports roll cage. there prices seem to be pretty reasonable.

i have a Maximum motorsports one... I bought it directly from them. Most shops around here charge 100 per pt. although my quote was a little higher cause the convertibles take a little more welding. i got a quote for 800 + actual rollbar. and the roll bar was 530 shipped with swing out door bars.

its not installed yet.. i cant see paying that much money for something i can do myself.
haha but im too lazy to actually get the motivation to strip my car down, mostly cause i dont have a place to put the interior in the meantime haha. Im planning on doing it this or next weekend... I wanna get to the track!!

I was quoted $900 for an Autopower cage installed. MM sells both their own brand and Autopower but when I talked to them on the phone they really talked up their own brand.

I wouldn't bother with the door bars unless the clubs or tracks you are racing with are going to require it. I am running fixed back seats and 6 point harnesses and it is already a bitch to get in and out everything.

They are ridiculously better than stock. I used them this weekend at an event with my 6 points and you don't even have to try to stay in. You can concentrate on all driving rather than holding yourself in.

They are also comfortable. The longest drive I have done is 1.5 hours but they were still comfortable. They definitely are not as comfortable as stock but you have to give up something.
