Talking once again.....

hey guys i was just wanting to see what you all think i should do with my 97 mustang gt 5-speed. ALL STOCK! i want to add some bolt ons and such and wanted to see where you guys think i should start. lol remember i aint rich...i.e no superchargers, and really expensive things...even tho i wish. let me know. Thanks

1st let us know how much your willing to spend.

I would start with gears, catback, midpipe, intake.

This way would will get some "get up and go feel" with the gears and nice sound with the exhaust. After that I would save for a PI swap.

start with exhaust ie: catback, midpipe, and/or headers then once thats done id do gears and a pi swap

idk im just going to start stickin money in it whenever i get it. i really wanted to get gears for it but i heard that makes your gas mileage even worse? and how expensive are they? and what size you think i should get?

Number one thing to get is gears. They really help the GT. The gas mileage loss is minimal at best with a 3.73 gear. Next thing is a short throw shifter. This makes the driving experience more fun. Good exhaust is the next step, followed by a PI headswap.
