suggestions on weight reduction

3000 may be pushing it. id say 3050-3060 at most. but still that amount of weight plays a huge role on getting that car moving, plus it feels more agile in the corners. id be willing to bet that 12.4 will drop to at least a 12.0-12.1 with all things being equal.

I don't think my car would ever feel agile in the corners, it handles like an old wooden boat

manual steering (buy a quick ratio rack)
manual brakes (upr kit is like $100)
a/c delete
move battery to back
remove backseat
remove front sway bar
tubular suspension
15" aluminum wheels
racing seats
remove bumpers (not covers, just the bumpers)
remove door bars
go on a diet and loose weight (drive mod?)

and if youre still not happy with that, start cutting pieces out of your chassis with a hole saw
