99/01 Cobra or Mach 1?

If the stripes are an issue, you might just as well get a black or dark shadow gray metallic Mach 1. They are probably the two most stealthy of the Mach 1s. Then again, some people buy a Mach 1, because it does tend to stand out....stripes and all.
I like the stripes. The whole Mach package looks good to me. You never know, a Mach 1 without its signature stripes might not be as desirable to the next buyer.
I wonder how many Mach 1 owners have taken the stripes off? I'm having a hard time picturing a Mach 1 without them.

i used to have a pic of a red one without the decals, but i can't find it now.
i also have a friend with a black mach 1 with a 99/01 cobra front bumper that has no decals. i can't find the pics of his either.

Thanks for the picture. It doesn't look bad...just a bit plain. I still think black would do the best without the decals/stripes. Most other color Mach 1s just lose that unique look without them. Certainly a plus if you want a Mach 1 to blend into the crowd of other Mustangs.... I prefer mine to stand out a bit.

You guys are basically arguing opinions. Doesn't make much sense. Some people like the Cobra's appearance and some people like the Mach's. The only real debatable part would be suspension and engine.
