Default adding horsepower

Im thinking about adding around 30 more horsepower on my 03 gt although it's an automatic trans. Is it possible to add that much more hp's on auto trans.? What are some ways I can add that much more if it's possible?

Shouldnt be an issue with an auto. Get a re-programmer, intake and a cat back and you may be around 30hp (or at least feel like it)

uh no. more like 10. you can do bolt ons or go straight to heads and cams..why just 30?

K&N filter
Throttle body
plenum
under drive pullies (steeda)
midpipe catback
Headers(longtube)
dyno tune

most cars with those mods dyno around 260rwhp..stock is about 230..so yea..full bolt ons

if you want your car to go faster, i would get a stall, gears, shift kit first. that makes a huge difference on an auto! you could have 500hp, but on the stock stall your still leaving a lot on the table. dont waste any money on CAIs, they dont perform any better than the stock intake. t/b plenum combos are ok, get the 75mm. Longtubes are the only header that are worth any money, check out MAC for the best deal. catbacks are merely for sound. the midpipe makes a bigger difference on hp than the catback. check out summit for their deals on H and X pipes.

I'd start with a full exhaust (long tubes, cross pipe, catback), better gears, and tuner. Your AT will handle that just fine, the acceleration will be much improved, and it will sound good.

+1 with JJ03MustangGT, and gears, 4.10's for you since your auto, your car will feel completely different with what he said and what i said.

spray it with nitrous....or bu gears and a tuner... once your shift points are changed, and the firmness, you will see a huge difference. i do agree with the stall

I got for performance mods, CAI, Steeda UDP, LT, O/R H, SLP LM1 cat back, 4:10 gears and an agressive dynotune, and put out 238 to the wheels thru an auto. I think im forgetting something too.

You gotta stop giving advice on HP gains, cause all your "estimates" are WAY off base. You're the guy who thought the mods in your sig put you at 300hp, right?
