Well, i dont have the NT05s out back yet, but i had to replace my front tires a little bit ago, and so i had them installed up front. I like em so far! I am waiting to get them out back because i want to get my suspension installed first. (its in a box lol)
IMO you cant beat the tire for the price of the NT05s, i'd get em if i were you!

Sorry I was under the impression u wanted to actually be able to launch on the street and hook. My bad, lol. Fwiw I can 2step at 3200 and hook w no burn out and 32psi in them. And have had them in the rain countless times, and the snow once or twice and only had 1 incident.

I've tried nittos and thought they ****in sucked

I use my 555's radials for the drag strip.. If you have more than bolt ons look else where... Once I got some motor work done and help of a little nitrous my car will break loose in hitting second gear on a good preped track..

i just got nt555s and they have a soft sidewall which gives handling a kind of mushy feel.. which i dont like too much. they have good straight line traction though and are very comfortable for cruising straight. If you want a sharp handling feel though i would get tires with a stiffer sidewall.

heres mine- they arent bad but id prefer a harder sidewall i suppose

old tires i could only launch at 2000 on the street, these i can launch at 3000 with very little burnout

Only one incident? Wasn't that based off of the tires loosing traction in the rain around a turn?

I've heard mostly good reviews about the 555's. I have the 555R's, and I'm pretty happy with them.

NT-05 > NT555 in terms of performance

Vice versa in terms of treadwear.

I personally wasn't very happy with the NT555 but I know many people that are. They didn't have enough grip in corners at all but for a street tire they should be just fine.
