While i was at CJ Pony Parts in Mechanicsburg/Harrisburg/wherever the hell that place is at, I was walking around with my friend and i decided to look at their specials for right now and i just happened to notice the pile of frpp gears sitting in the middle of the floor. And i walked over and saw the price and i just couldnt leave without getting a set. I bit the bullet. Everyone says "dont fear the gear"...and i didnt. I got myself a set of FRPP 4.10's for $130!!! Quite a buy i thought considering everywhere else wants $180 or so for a set. So I now have gears sitting in my basement waiting for my mechanic to get back from Williamsburg Truck week to install them. Im gonna get a master install kit to do it since everything in that rear is 106,000 miles old. Everything is coming back out soon anyways for a rear build, so im just doing the gears and install kit for now. This is thread is to let everyone know how excited i am to finally have gears for my car and to let everyone know who is thinking about gears that now is the time to buy them being $130 for 4.10's and $150 for 3.73's. So jump on them now people and save some coin. They've got a stack of them sitting on their showroom floor waiting for all you to buy 'em. And i also didnt know that FRPP gears are made in Italy. Everything ford ever made came from italy...the teksid block among other things. But just letting everyone know Teej has gears...finally and i cant wait to put them in!!! Hopefully more stuff on the way soon. I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for putting up with my long post but im just soo excited to do something to my car for the first time in a year and a half!!!

Sometimes you have to just bite on a good deal. I know I've purchased a few things out of order because I couldn't pass up the deal.

You're gonna love the 4.10s!! BUT you won't love wearing out your tires and the terrible gas mileage being that you won't be able to not romp on it at every light! LOL

 

Congrats! You said don't fear the gear, I thought you maybe got 4.30's or 4.56's lol

 

Yea id get 3.73s...idk i can barley afford gas as it is haha.
