Default Shift Lights

I've been looking for some type of external shift light for the car but wanted everyones opinion on which ones are good. I'm not too keen on the idea of having a 5" tach mounted on the dash (not necessary in my opinion) but I do like the raptor shift light. Anyone have any input on this as well as the 5" and if its worth it?

Raptor is the way to go. 5" tachs are for rice boys; you have a perfectly working tachometer in your stock gauge cluster.

I chose to mount mine here(see pic) but you can put the thing all over the place. Very simple install.

I remember seeing a write up about him....or someone else....sticking it behind a vent. I thought that was a pretty cool idea.

Whatever happened to him?
