I've always heard that the true x pipe have a better sound than the non true x.
Yep, i guess mine would fall under the not "true" category, however i dont see that minor difference in connection making a big difference in power.....
the difference is so small you would never feel it. but they may sound a scoche different

They say the X make a little more power, maybe on 2-3hp more. I say that is true only if it is a tru x pipe such as Magnaflow, UPR, DR Gas. BBK and Bassani are not tru x-pipes. What catback are you running? Mac and Flowmaster sound great with a H where are Borla and Bassani sound great with a X.
