I bought my 99 cobra a month ago and it threw a rod and blew a hole in my block on the way home. I got it yesterday and it runs great. Two hours ago I was driving to get the inspection done and I was going 65 mph and WHAM! My hood flies up, shatters my windshield, dents the daylights out of my roof, and cracked the hood everywhere. I want to cry. I leave in three weeks with the Air Force. I guess my question is, do I have really bad luck or is this just life?


PS-If anyone wants to give me a hood, they can.

Wow, you have terrible luck. Was the hood latched on all the way?

 

WOW, that really sucks man. we gave that back less than 24 hours ago.

 

I guess it didn't click shut completely. I know I should always double check. I just really thought it was shut. I'm still kicking myself.
