Default Just ordered...

Well, I just ordered my MMR 800 built block today! It has been a long time in coming a year next month that I have not driven my car.

I am hoping to have her in by end of August

did you get any of the options? bore, which pistons did you go with?

I was pricing them out with absolutely everything i wanted and it will be about 400-500 less if i take it to be build by my local guy.

It was MMR 800 block with forged crank and 18cc dish pistons for a 9.5 compression with stock heads and mainfold. Yes you could do it a bite cheaper but does your local builder warranty his work for 1 year. Is the motor going to be balanced and blue printed? To me that is worth the extra $500 bucks if you ever run into a problem with a defect.
