There's a REASON we're the largest mustang forum.... The people. Members, mods, and Admins.

So if you want to tear up your local board, that's fine. But trolling and flaming here will NOT be tolerated. It's not the moderators job to survey every post on here and has been deemed intelligent and logical enough to lock a thread when they see fit.

If you have a problem with it, send me a PM.

wow..i've never seen you before lol

You are aware that Google placement is based on traffic and hits, right? But yes, we are proud of that fact.

As far as everything thing that our section moderator Lizzyfan has said, as well as out site moderator Acer has said, I'm here also saying that I will back their every concern when it comes to running a clean and enjoyable Mustang community.
Truth told, I feel that even the guys that get caught up in the flame'tastic posts just get carried away sometimes and are actually good people. So we try to talk to them/you first before being a bunch of ****** about it. But if a few that can't conduct themselves as a good community member refuse to bend, we have to do something, or complete chaos would ensue. So I hope everyone understands that here at Mustang Forums. We really are a pretty good bunch, if you just get to know us.

I am a moderator on a few sites so take this for w/e you think its worth:

If the sections were watched closer you wouldn't have issues like this. This section is damn near lawless except for the 1 or 2 times a month one of the mods does anything about it. cleaning up a thread is as simple as a click on the post then click delete in the thread tools. it takes 5 seconds and the thread is clean and back on track.

People wouldnt be bothered by it if the moderation was a consistent thing but its not.. hence why ppl are like WTF about it lol. Im not knockin any mods or anything but you guys have to come up with how you want to run things and stick with it. If you want to be lax, be lax if you want to be hardasses all the time do that. Nobody will care as long as its consistent.

the issue may be is there are a few moderators and everyone of us act/ react differently. I am pretty laxed, probably more than I should be so I appreciate when another mod "picks up where I may leave off".

Speaking for myself:
With that being said, as laxed as I am I fully agree that Ox/mustangman should have been permanantly banned! I know that the details of what happened isn't anyones business that isn't a mod/admin but I will say this... he wasn't banned for saying "I'm gonna beat you up", instead he talked about hunting someone down and gave details as to what he was going to do with his body. He did it several times on this board as well as an other board. His threats could be considered criminal! While he gave good info at times, albeit he liked to lie and stretch the truth, there is no place here for him or anyone like him! IMO he has an anger issue & it seems that he can't control, and I don't want him hunting down someone on our forum under my watch. Since I'm not going anywhere, he had to. Is that good enough for everyone?

He has a point and i agree it gets where nobody cares but then all of a sudden its a big deal but thats my opinion if it was me i would pick a middle b/n being relaxed and real strict just pick a happy median and stick with it but you have to stick with it people will push the boundaries and see how far they can go and when it starts just chime in and tell them they are getting out of align and again thats my opinion and i dont have anything aganst this site or any of its members
