its really not... IDT you can make enough hp/tq on the street to absolutely need a sumped tank. But i would however switch to a baffled tank for 500+hp/tq. Just my .02.

I sort of agree. You will rarely see conditions on the street crazy enough to need to need a sumped tank.

But if you hit the drag strip/road course, you DO absolutely need one.

True^^
should have included the strip/road course thing.
but even then, if you not hanging the wheels on the moon running slicks or running <1/4 tank of gas, there is really no need for one... in my opinion. I dont even see a baffled tank with a 1/4 tank of gas on the twisties being a issue either, but its always better to be safe than sorry...

EDIT: I wont be running a sumped tank... But then again i dont frequent the tracks much either and when i do i run DR's, not slicks.
The only issue i have with sumped tanks are the external pumps. I have seen a couple of them burn up on the street due to them not being in the fuel to cool them. I'm sure the nice hot and humid LA summer has something to do with it too...

?? i told you.. I know they will support ~ 700RW with a BAP and the correct fuel line size, rails, and injectors. The guy i bought my blower/fuel system from was running this setup and was making 67?RW with more fuel to go. So at least 600rw we'll call it.

Why don't you want to run a BAP?

My bet would be around 600whp, but you definitely need bigger lines, bigger rails, and the injectors to fit.

Well I am shootin for aorund 525 rwhp, at that hp level I think my stock lines and rails should be ok. I don't see why dual focus pumps won't support that power. If I can do it without a BAP I'd like to save the money.

JVOG - I think with my setup I will be < than 500 rwhp maybe 475-480 and I am using 1 SVT Focus fuel pump, BAP, 60 lb. injectors, 90 MM LMAF, and stock fuel lines.

I got my BAP from MPH for 255 shipped but not sure if you need one with two pumps. I would call Tim at MPH he should be able to help you out.
