Default Off Road H Pipe

I just ordered a set of Flowmaster 40 series mufflers for my 01 GT Bullitt. Now I'm looking for the best place to get a cheap off road H pipe. Any suggestions?

Ive heard some bad things about Flows and X pipes, so if you know a good place for a cheap o/r h pipe, Help me out!

Seems like a lot of people go with the MAC o/r H pipe.

I believe you can order it from american muscle or latemodel restoration.

--I personally kind of like the sound of x-pipe and flows. Listen to exhaust setups on youtube...that should help you with your decision.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-640724/

It is what I have, no complaints except the location of the rear o2 bungs were a little too far forward without having extensions, but I just plugged them anyway.

I believe Summit Racing also sells an x-pipe. I really like the way an x-pipe sounds (the exhaust pulses are closer together). It doesn't rumble at low speeds as much, but what a sweet roar it has at higher speeds.

Do all of these fit stock headers?

Also, am I going to have a problem with the o2 sensors setting off a check engine light or anything like that without the cats?

My link does fit, see where it says headers required and it says shorty, you either need a shorty or stock required midpipe.

And yes, without the cats, you will set off the CEL. Get some mil elims from AM to keep it off. Also, an o/r pipe will not pass anytype of emissions test. Supposedly, rumor is that the elims will pass it since it still sends an okay code to the computer. If this is valid, I have no idea.

If I were you I would get a regular length O/R H pipe. And as far as your rear O2 sensors, they would cause your check engine light to come on. You could get a tuner and turn them off your the MIL eliminators. But a tuner would be better.

*Edited due to stupidity*

As far as emissions goes yea it will pass the computer, but when he looks under your car after the start up of that beast he's going to be like there's no way that has cats, one check under your car and he will see no cats=Failed emissions

A shorty is for long tubes only, do that and you will have just wasted money.

I'm not worried about the emissions or it being legal. It will never get tested.

I've read on here about people having trouble getting the check engine light to go off even with a tuner. That concerns me a little bit. Have you all had any trouble with this? About how much is a tuner?
