if you go to rpmoutlet.com and check out the injectors for sale, they rate to what horsepower they support. if you haven't done ALOT of work, you don't have anything to worry about. engine work or forced induction.

Your stockers are good for a tad over 300 rwhp.

If you set an 80% duty cycle limit (rule of thumb max) the 19lb/h orange injectors max out at 244 HP or so, this is why Ford went to the pink 21lb/h injectors (268HP @ 80%) in late 2001.

There's no way the orange 19lb/h injectors will make 300HP, even at 100% duty cycle as Ford runs them at 40 psi rather than the 43.5 psi conventional test/specification pressure.

Get some pink 21lb/h OEM (they'll be pushing 90% dc), or better yet 24lb/h after market injectors, and you'll be all set. 30lb/h would work but may be troublesome to tune at idle and low loads.

You will need to buy higher capacity injectors when you do that--injector sizing is not something you set up now for future plans, unless you like banging your head into a wall. You need to size them so that they will be operating at 75% to 85% duty cycle at you current maximum engine output.

When you go f/i you can bump fuel pressure using a BAP or more properly line things up in the tune, or use larger injectors to accommodate the added air.

My 2009 GT has purple injectors. What size are these?
