help with cams

Default help with cams

i have a 04 GT 2v 5 speed with 3.73 i'm look to put a set of cams in nothing to big i'm only looking for 300+ to the wheels any ideas on what i should put in

is all you have done to you car is 3.73s? if so getting cams right now for you wont be much of a difference, do full exhaust and intake work before the cams, then you will see the full potential of them

+1. You'll need every bolt on + cams to get 300 hp. What mods, besides gears, do you have right now?

i have under drive pullys, cold air, 70mm throttel body and a cat back. but i have s set of long tubes and a H pipe i need to put on

even with full bolt ons, and with stage 1 cams, without and aftermarket head i dont see you making 300+ to the wheels

i do. you could go stage 2 and you would be fine. most stage 2 cam and full bolt on cars dyno around 295-305.

^^I'd get stage twos and you'd be pretty damn close to ur goal. Then get some stage two heads

Yes, you will need a tune and new springs.
