Default Working on a 98GT

I introed my self in the FNG section. I bought a 98GT automatic, after a long absence from Mustangs and Street Cars. I'm working on this one as a project for my Grandson, and myself. Paint, cold air intake, 3.73 gears, up to now. I really don't know what wheels to get. What tweeks help the cars out? I am not looking for a radical rocket, just a decent running, good looking cruise-in ride. Any, and all suggestions appreciated.

Well, lowering springs, nice set of wheels like ya said, Longtube headers, off road or high flow mid pipe, a nice catback. Maybe a new Throttle body/plenum. Tint the hell out of it

Has it had a PI swap yet? Do you have any pics of it?

If you just want a good looking, running car the only thing I could think of that would be worth the money is exhaust. TB/Plenum and UDPs add a few hp but by the sounds of it, not worth the money just to squeeze out at most 10rwhp. You could always just style up the engine bay to make it look better. Go for rims, tint, lowering springs or blacked out tail lights.

Default OK more done.

Went with a set of high flow cats, (keep the feds happy) flowmaster 40 series cat back exhuast. Shift kit. PI heads not worth the time, and money for me. I Lowered it 1 1/2 inches. 17 X 9 Chrome Cobra R wheels (nothing special I just like the wheel) Last of all I just got the 2 1/2 inch cowl Hood on this evening. No problems or check engine lights. I am done. (I think) Grandson wants to put a supercharger on it. We'll see.
