Eco-boost is gonna be a 6 banger bud...not gonna be a V8. Sorry. Ford would never be so nice to turbo a V8 for us outta the box.

Well lets extrapolate a little....

Mazda has a 2.3 L Eco boost pushing 270 ish HP. I could not see any problem with a 4.6L EB being able to do 540 ish out of the box. Would make a great Cobra version at least. Were the Religious Greenies not in charge, Ford and others may have done it by now. But because of mandated *** kissing, they have to at least look like they are paying their Alms.

the eco boost mustang is gonna be great , were talking serious potential here with a 3.5 rocking twins ! a tune a few upgraded and they will prolly be in the 400 zone of h/p , Now imagine adding different blowers and doing some more upgrades and that car will be nasty. But I hear ya OP a Turbo charged 5.0 would be a street molester.

yea, i mean look at hellion...already been done guys. The problem is when you go ahead and do the upgrades and stuff it no longer will be eco-boost...just boost. lol which is already being done. nothing special about it.

But that direct injection has got to help some.

A twin turbo direct injection 5.0 with forged rotating parts makes sense to me as the next generation Cobra.
