mine are smaller up front...and i used to have 255s up front, switching to skinnys was a huge difference...it didnt handle like junk or anything, just not like it used to

 

not saying there will be issues but the car will drive like complete sh*t, unless in a straight line. its actually kind of funny if you just push the side of the car and watch it wobble. even if i just take the front sway bar off i cant stand driving it around with the front that loose. how often do you run it? two sets of rims and tires will end up paying for itself in time (some sooner then others) when your not putting new drag radials on every 6 months.

 

I go about 2-2 times a year but i do need a better tire then a nitto at the track just dont have the money to have a extra set of rims just for the track. I do have two junk 15'' wheels that i have a M/T on that i use at the track. just thought about using prostars for good though so didnt have to switch when i go to the track.

 

my car will be 70% track driven...thats why i traded the cobras for prostars....ill get a set of street wheels eventually, but performance comes before cosmetics....do what you can do to enjoy your car the most, and then later on when the budget allows, get another set of street wheels...im waiting till they make 2010 gt500 replicas, if they dont by the time i am ready to buy wheels, ill be getting saleens...its a ways off
