Default Suspension... need to go lower w/o changing springs

Alright... im a TOTAL noob with suspension...

i want to lower the body of my car, but the chasis can't lower another millimeter bc i already scrape the k member, sway bar, and cats on my midpipe...

I just want the body of my car to lower...

im lookin for another .5-1" in the rear and maybe 1 inch to 1.5" MAX in the front...

i was thinking about removing my isolators, but i have no experience so i am nervous to do this... that should net me about .5 all around lets say... so this gets me to lowering the front a little bit more WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK

i like to stack up on items come christmas time and install them during the spring... lookin to spend somewhere around 300 max to lower my car where i want it.

would steeda x2 balljoints do the job if i were to NOT install the spacers?? or will that lower my chasis as well?? if i don't install the spacers on the balljoints, will it still correct my suspension geometry and be able to raise the spindle/tierods (w/e it is) to where they are supposed to be?

because im also looking to fix my spindles..or my tie rods? idk what they are called, but they are angled downwards... shouldn't they be straight??

wish this post wasnt so confusing, but will removing the iso's, installing steeda x2 balljoints w/o the spacers, and getting a bumpsteer kit for the balljoints lower my car significantly enough to tell a difference as well as improve my suspension??

i have heard that if you dont install the spacers on the balljoints, that you do NOT correct your suspension... is that true?

remember, i want the body lower, not the chasis

but than again, wont things like the exhaust get lower to the ground if they body of the car gets lower??? i dont get it

you cant just lower the body, sorry bud. you can ower it just be carefully where you drive. im mean under my car the exhaust is only like an inch off the ground and i scrap every where but theres really no damage done. and i've had it that way for over a few years now

Yeah the scraping sucks, but there really isn't too much that can be done about it. My car really isn't that low, 1.5 drop in front and 1" in rear and I scrape bad on steep inclines and bad rail road crossings. That's why I wonder how good do Vettes drive on city streets and inclines because they seem to be so low.

Yup... Hell I used to scrape my midpipe BEFORE i lowered it... now that the whole car sits almost 2" lower, and I jacked up the midpipe, I almost never scrape(chin before midpipe).

@OP.... I was hoping you were just kidding with your question... But I don't think you are....

i dont know why there are 2 of these threads.. it's really pissing me off...

no i wasn't joking... i wasn't born with knowledge... kinda gotta learn as i go... why else would we all go to school?

my question wasnt as bizarre as it seems.. gotta start somewhere

that sounds like a good fix for my exhaust, but my k member and steeda sway bar are still gunna scrape... idk what to do...

how long would it take to remove all the iso's in the car F/R? anybody have an estimate
