i have a UPR catted Xpipe but im strapped for cash so i have the stock cat back. my friend gave me some free spintech mufflers so im sure it will sound better then stock. i couldnt find too many guys running spintechs on youtube how do you guys think it will sound?

I personally love the sound of spin techs... are they for a 2.25" inlet/outlet or 2.5"? Because your factory catback is 2.25" and typical after market catback/mufflers are 2.5".

they are 2.5". im just going to flare up a small piece of 2.25" tubing to match it. im planning on doing turn downs and leaving the stock tail pipes =] ghetto the right way lol

Well I'm pretty sure you'll like them... so I'll just assume the trade is no go.

I was just giving ya **** about the ghetto part... there are actually quite of few people I have heard who have done something similar to what you're doing. They wanted to run dumps but like the look of the tail pipes (or don't like the look of the empty cut outs)

yea i dont like empty cut outs but turn downs make the power lol jk. i like the sound of turn downs. we will see maybe i wont like em..

They sound good. i had them on my car with bbk o/r X and it was way too raspy and crazy load. I think most of that was the x pipe tho. When i had them and the stock mid pipe it sounded good. You willl be happy, def better than stock

i have an x pipe but its catted so it probably wouldn't be as loud as yours.
